    20%off jr pass?

    • Fingers crossed. I just bought and get CR Track email.
Made a full payment, and did not apply any Klook credits in my account.

      • Same. It’s tracked in my CR account already

    • +1

Absolutely outstanding. Just ordered the 21 day pass for our family of four and saved $380!

Edit: already showing up on CR as pending

      • Are you flying in the next 90 days? Im going in May next year but heard it has a 3 month expiry

        • +1

On the purchase details it says purchase only valid for exchange in the next 90 days. So can't be used for May 23

        • Yep, mid November.

    • +1

      What's a jr pass?

      Edit: Japan Rail

    • On a related note, anyone bought theses from klook before and easy to activate/collect? Sounds like get QR code, scan in Japan, it activates and your days count from then?

      • +1

No, you need a physical exchange order to get the pass proper in Japan, which they'll mail to you. The QR code is just for pickup for Hong Kong residents from their HK office I think.

Used them in 2020 and no issues getting the exchange order and converting on arrival at Narita.

        • Oh, thanks for the heads up. I've received an e-ticket for the pass from klook. I'll look more into how to redeem it!

          • +1

@frogduck: Just take the exchange order they mail to you with you to Japan, and convert it at any major JR station or the JR offices at the international airports for the pass proper (and get ready for an hour line if doing it at the airport).

            • @GS9891: Ah cool, I'll do it at the Osaka station as I don't need it for the first few days. Cheers!

  • When does this end?

    • +1

      Tomorrow.

      • +1

        tomorrow what time?

  • What category is Relaxation apart of? (Massages)

  • Does this apply to Swiss Travel Pass?

    • Just booked one and appears to have tracked correctly - $310 pass tracked with ~$60 cashback

      • +1

Thanks for the info. Just booked mine and cashback was tracked instantly.

  • Damn already bought from klook the other day using the 10% cashback from shopback…and it didn’t even track 😒. And I’ve been using that site for years so I followed the steps properly. Pretty mad about it

    • -1

Could always cancel and re-buy through CR?

    • You can put a protest in and see if they will pay up

  • +1

Excellent. Bought and cash back email tracked instantly

  • +1

Is it true 20% or cheddar fake 20% cashback

      1. This isn't Cheddar.
      2. The CR site says it's legit.
    • Cheddar fake 20% cashback? Ive just used cheddar for the first time this week. Is it not legit?

      • Something about cheddar uses the USD price to calculate cashback, so in actuality it's only 12% for us in the end - saw this commented in the cheddar deal from the 5th

        • I was told the Cheddar cashback would get converted to AUD once it is approved🤞

  • Is 20% cashback eligible with the Klook Melbourne and Beyond Pass?

    • If it's not in the exclusions, then I'd assume it is!

    • Hmm I tried and it didnt give me 20% - did it work for you?

      • Did cashback track yet?

        • +1

          Yes, tracked, 2%.

    • interested to know too

    • Bali pass only gave me a dismal 2% cashback so I'm looking at cancelling and using the 5% discount on their site for booking with the app.

Has anyone successfully cancelled a pass which hasn't been activated?

  • +1

Are hotels included? The category is not in either inclusions or exclusions.

    • wondering that too

    • -1

hope it is, but in case it isn't, booking.com has 12% cashback currently, ONLY for hotels

    • Can't see any mention of hotels unfortunately but I think the hotels are from booking.com like someone mentioned

  • -1

    Does overseas ticket include?

  • Would hot air ballooning be included in tours and sightseeing?
    https://www.klook.com/en-AU/activity/42987-melbourne-hot-air…
    20% cashback would be great

  • Nice, looks like cash back’s available with Movie World/Sea World/Wet n Wild passes. Seems to be the best price for the multi-theme park passes at the moment.

    • +2

Will be interested in buying this as well if rep or someone can confirm this doesn’t fall into the Special Activities category

      • +1

I can confirm, cash back tracks at 20% for the Movie World/Sea World/Wet n Wild passes.

    • +1

Bupa has 15% discount for these if you are member and miss out on this.

  • The exclusion list doesn't specifically include coupon codes … worth rolling the dice?

    • Worked for me. I used a Klook $5 coupon for min $20 spend and I got the Cashback confirmation this morning.

      • How to get the $5coupon?

      • was this an approved cashback? or just pending (so they may reject it later)

        • +1

I opted not to use the coupons with my bookings to be safe.

  • +1

I was just trying to book gardens by the bay for a visit in november and now the klook site seems to only provide options to book before 27 October. Wasn't doing that last week - anyone know what's the deal?

    • They're opening a new exhibit there from 28th October (Avatar thing), which you're not able to book for at this stage

      • Hopefully they don't jack the price up ridiculously.

  • +1

    SIM cards included?

    • has anyone tried this?

      • +2

        Japan sim tracked for me

        • Which one did you buy? Is it the cheapest you found so far?

  • +1

Wanted to book Universal Studios Japan and Disneysea but not sure whether it's included or not?

    • +1

Bought Disneysea ticket sjust now. Tracked 20% instantly

What's the definition of "special activities"?

I booked Klook Pass Singapore which is listed under categories Klook Travel > Singapore > Attractions & tickets > Attraction passes and only got 2%

I would have thought based on the category it would be "Attractions and Shows" for 20%

    • I can't find a definition on Cashrewards, however shopback lists the following - "Theme Parks, JR Passes are Special Activities"

      • +2

JR Passes are counted as transport in this deal. I got my 20% Cashback tracked by cashrewards this morning.

        • +2

tracked ^= confirmed. they can still refuse.

    • +2

I bought a Klook 2 attraction pass for penang and looks like i was only tracked at 2% too. I have lodged an enquiry with Cashrewards. Nowhere was it listed that it is part of the special activities so hopefully they fix it

    • +3

UPDATE: 20% for Klook Singapore Pass

"Thank you for reaching out to our team regarding your transaction with KLOOK. I hope you're doing well.

I looked at your transaction and can see that it had initially tracked incorrectly and has since been updated to show the correct cashback rate of 20% for the "Attractions and Shows" cashback tier."

  • Bought MEL Skybus tickets via Klook and paid with Zip, cashback tracked instantly!

  • I noted down all the prices of places i wanted to visit 3 days ago - checked today and all prices have been jacked slightly (~50c to a few dollars each)

    • +4

this could be due to the exchange rate (assuming your activities are international)

  • Checking if hotel bookings at Singapore would be counted towards Cashback. Cheers

    • I believe so…

    • that would be really nice….

    • I've sent a message to @tightarse about this. Hopefully he chimes in to confirm.

      • +1

        Any luck?

        • Any luck?

          • @activ8newbs: Getting the feeling that there won't be any response or at least until after the sale ends tomorrow night.
EDIT: Previous deals did specifically mention hotels (as part of activities) so there must be a reason why they restructured the categories and why it's not included any more ie probably wasn't accidentally left out.
EDIT: Just went ahead and made a hotel booking anyway and it tracked for close to 20% (I guess minus the USD conversion and any taxes or whatever).

  • +1

Is Universal Studios Singapore attractions or special activities?

    • +1

      Same question

      • +2

Yes I believe we got the 20%. Although I bought so much stuff it's hard to figure out what is what😊

  • +2

combo with amex spend $150 get $20 back on klook

  • Booked airport transfer, NOT tracked???
Should be eligible for 20% under "transport and Wifi"??

    • argh.. same here

  • Hey, don’t suppose anyone has booked or knows if Disneyland Paris would be in the deal. I’m taking the kids in January.

  • Sydney or Cairns Pass tracking at 2% :(

    • Same issue with Bali Pass, for some reason it may be considered a gift card rather than an attraction pass.

I'm far from impressed with the lack of transparency

  • Slightly OT, but wondering if you can load up your Klook balance with gcs like you can Amazon. I am thinking of buying multiple $150 Klook GCs on the Amex deal (spend 150 for 20 credit) and then next year buying JR pass with the credit.

    • Cashback is ineligible: on all travel insurance products; on purchases made via the KLOOK mobile app; if using gift cards for full or partial payment; if using Service NSW vouchers.

      • Thanks but my question is not about cashback - I am aware paying with GC excludes it. Can I use multiple Klook GCs to buy a Japan Rail pass or are you restricted to one GC per transaction? Or does Klook let you redeem multiples GCs?

  • Does anyone know if this will work with eurorail????

  • +1

Booked Eurostar train, tracked at 20%!

  • Is tracking broken?

  • Damn daylight saving, just missed. Do we know for sure if promo code are excluded or not? it might get tracked but denied down the track if promo code used? any exp to share?
