Disability Support Worker... Any Company Recommendations?

Hi there!

Could anyone kindly recommend a reputable company to work for in the Disability sector as a Support Worker? Looking for full time work and have my Cert III In Individual Support.
I'm located in Melbourne. Currently I'm in Aged Care and looking to increase my pay.

Thanks fab peeps!

    • Looking for a full time work!

    • Thank you so much sorry for the late post!

  • Reputable would be places like Berry Street, Scope, Life Without Barriers and Yooralla, basically the bigger ones in Melbourne. Berry Street focuses on kids, if that's a better/worse thing for you. IIRC Scope doesn't tend to have the best reviews online for employees (although Hearth tended to be worse).

Never worked in the industry besides supporting recruiting teams at a few places in healthcare/aged care and did a few reviews of what the various care providers are like. If it's better pay could well be worth the jump. I'm guessing it's like every healthcare industry like now and if you bother to show up to the interview you'll get a job.

  • Have you looked into Mable, Kynd, hireup etc? I believe some of these can be quite good and pay well - sorry can’t remember which one someone told me was better.

  • Try Yooralla

  • Thank you!
