A solid game design book bundle from Humble B. The best value is the 25 items one which contains the Patrick Holleman “Reverse Design” series on Chrono Trigger (IMHO The greatest video game I’ve ever played) and FFVII.
These books are rarely discounted and their hardcover counterparts go for a significant sum from outlets such as Booktopia and the like.
Holleman himself has his love letter to JRPGs in “Quartet”, a video game due for release sometime within the next year.
