[NSW] Bega Cheese 1kg Block $8 @ Supamart IGA

250

1kg block of Bega Cheese cheaper than home brand!

I believe this is only at the Supamart stores listed here - not at all IGA'S but I find IGA's non-national pricing confusing!!

Also, Jalna 1KG Yogurt $4.50
And Cadbury blocks $2.50

Such a sad state of affairs when we need to have a bargain on cheese! Please edit title to Sydney only.

    • Have you seen some of the overpriced junk reps try & spam on here?

tbf its been a long long long fuqqin' time since brand name cheese was $8 a kilo… i mean probably back in 2018?

Yep, a lot of violence in that kg - killed calves, masturbated bulls, cows repeatedly inseminated till they're killed for burgers - sad indeed.

Where was all this outrage when Uggs Australia was selling wallaby skin floor throw rugs?

And in my next life, I hope I come back as a masturbated bull. Sounds horrible just standing around, having my nuts measured and getting jerked off all day.

    • Why?

I used to buy Bega vintage and has it gone down, down and down in quality over last few years. Instead of the slices being dry, breaking when you try to fold them they're now all oily, shiny, gummy, yellow, almost like the cheapest cheap individually wrapped for school kids sandwiches. Can imagine how bad those are now. Also Aldi's tasty has gone to 💩, tastes like margarine, doesn't taste like cheese at all. Their vintage is still ok.

I thought it was Beqa lol

  • If you want this I’d get in quick, last time shelf space was so low it felt like a bait and switch.

    • They had an end shelf section at Pennant Hills with a heap of stock, but a staff member was there, so I didn't take a pic. Not sure about other stores

"Tasty" is not a type of cheese.

    • Better than tasteless.
