Google Pixel 7 Pro $300 Bonus Trade-in Credit from Telstra

Got an email from Telstra showing that they've changed up their Bonus offer for the Pixel 7 pro (not the regular Pixel 7), offer expires October 31st

$300 Bonus trade-in credit similar to the JB Hi-fi deal, but they've removed the $427 of freebies it seems. Not a bad deal if you don't want to lay outright, or if you're upgrading/adding a number and can snag a $10/20 port in credit.
You can also pay off the Pixel watch in installments if you have a post-paid service and a MyTelstra ID.

The JB Hi-fi deal is still better overall seeing as you can double dip on the free Chromecast, Nest Hub and $100 gift card and $300 trade in credit affording to support staff.

    Can you do this if you buy outright? Can't see anywhere how to get the $300 bonus.

    Yeah, can't really decipher how this works.

    "Get a $300 bonus credit when you trade in any mobile phone, in any condition, for the new Google Pixel 7 Pro. Offer ends 31 October. Eligibility criteria apply."

    Why is there eligibility criteria why they are using words like "ANY" mobile phone and condition. I've got some 10+ year old POS mobiles in a draw that would seem to be eligible, but when you follow the links your only options seem to be recent/modern brands and models.
