  • I'd love to get some meross smart plugs as I also have some meross smart lights but these plugs take up 2 outlets

  • I bought some of these the other day for $64 and they are awesome - though I've also bought 2 packs of 4 at $49.00.

These are great for keeping track of how much power everything uses - the on/off feature is great, but I have no need for it at this point in time.

    • What do you use them for? I mean practically.

      • Home automation.

      • Auto switch off night lights especially xmas lights. Or set to turn on lights automatically at certain times. Another use is to remotely switch off/on air con/heater prior to you arriving.

      • Power monitoring would be main feature

  • I read in some reviews on Amazon if switch them off and we have to start all over again to configure over wifi.

  • +1

I use Kasa energy monitoring ones for my server/comms rack, if a server locks up, its more convenient to cutoff the power and then turn it back on to manually boot them up again, just need to make sure resume on power is setup in the BIOS.

Also helps with monitoring the power draw on servers.

These ones look alot bulkier than the Kasa ones, i think they overlap onto other ports which is sad. Looks like a good buy though.

    • I use the arlec ones as they slimmer so can fit multiples on a single powerboard for individual control

  • +3

Be aware that these are huge and bulky so they block up 2 slots which is such a waste. Would pay extra for the slim Kasa because of this.

  • Had these for quite some time.
These used to be great, but firmware update couple months ago completely ruined it. Plugs randomly not responding to scheduled trigger even after reset and reconfiguring it again from scratch.
They still trying to fix it

    • I also have this same issue, have since replaced them with Kasa plugs

  • My problem with these is they struggle with hi watt induction loads I wont turn on a 1200W heater & my Voron printer. Both works with Mirabela smart switch.

  • Damnit missed out this deal. ☹
