Options to Book Pick-up and Postage for Item I Bought?

Hi
I need to arrange shipping and either pick-up or local drop off to a depot for a small item bought interstate.
I looked at Sendle but it doesn't look like I can arrange shipping as the receiver?
Ideas?

  • Can you ask the seller to use Sendle and add it to your invoice?

    • I think they don't want to be held accountable if it's damaged in transit thus happy for me to book.

  • +1

All depends on how helpful the sender is…. Quite easy to send them a con note from any courier.

    What area is the pickup?

    • Pickup is North Melbourne. Ideally if I can find a service that prints their own label.
I need to log into Sendle and see if I can just enter my details for both sender and receiver and have them drop it off if they can print a label.

      • Sendle has printer free available via eBay….not sure if it's on the sendle dash yet….easiest way is for the seller to print and attach the label. If they don't have a printer you can do it online at office works.

Fast courier have printer free courier options although you'll pay a lot more.

  • CP and Aramex has a lot of send locations like a local news agency. Check their website.

  • Recently someone I sold vinyls to on SNA used Transdirect to book a pickup from me.

This was pretty good except I had to dash out a few times and true to murphys law they showed up each time I was outside. Took a few tries for pickup but all good. And so tip is to ask your seller to leave the package in front of their door (safe spot) for a smooth pickup.

    • Thanks
Did you have to print and attach a label?

      • Yes I had to.
