Melbourne Entertainment Books $65 with Free Delivery

Not sure if this is a bargain but I just saw a link from a fundraiser (Was posted on FB about free limited time delivery in June) that is selling Melbourne Entertainment Books $65 with Free Delivery for Month of June.

The RRP is $65 and I've seen it everywhere else for $65 but with free delivery, might be a good deal?

  • Actually, I got an email from entertainment book company and I can get the book for $50. Its obviously of no use to me since I already have one.

      yes, please provide link :)

      • Link wouldn't work for you as it is only for my email. But I can attach a pdf of the printed email (if only i knew how to do it).

        Edit: Hopefully this works https://www.dropbox.com/s/ges2mjjawyfl34g/Ent%20book1.pdf

        • Wow very nice, how does the general public get it for that price? Can you provide the link for the "Buy It Now" button? So the email is sent by the Entertainment Book Company directly?

        • I just checked my inbox and it seems I have received that email too. It's an offer to buy other cities Books for a discounted price (Other than the one you already own). To get it at the discounted price, you MUST already own a book to begin with and you must login to the website in order to purchase one. So I guess not available to public.

          Quote from website:
          "Please note:

Editions you already own are not available through this offer.
This offer is available to Australian and New Zealand residents only.
All prices are listed in Australian dollars.
          Books are subject to availability.
Delivery is available within Australia and New Zealand only.

Please note: If you'd like to buy other editions of the new 2012 | 2013 Books, you must first purchase a new 2012 | 2013 edition"

So essentially it's discounted books for other cities only for those already who own a book already.

The entertainment book costs $50 but charities sell them for $65. I had a friend who created "fake" charity to get 20 books at $50 and then sell them to her friends for $65 and kept the $15 in her pocket. I was one of her "friends" but when I found out about it I no longer wanted to even see her face, LOL.

I found out about it because one year she had to go overseas for an urgent family matter and couldn't find anyone to pick up her entertainment books order, so she asked me to go. As it turned out she also got one free entertainment book just for ordering.

    • Anyone find anywhere where I can get one for $50?
