I want to buy a bike from BigW. The sale begins on the 28th, problem is I am still waiting for my Westfield gift cards from the GroupOn deal. Can I put the bike on lay by (so it is reserved) and pay for it in full with my gift cards instead of cash?

Unless it's a kids bike, I'd suggest a rethink. IMO riding a poor quality bike quickly takes the fun out of riding…
Pretty sure Westfield gift cards can't be used in department stores.
