  EA is now behind the F1. No thank you. The gameplay, simulation level and graphics are just awful compared to ACC.

    EA in a downward spiral for many many years now but still makes a killing copy-pasting sports games… AC and ACC are brilliant sims.

    it's still developed by Codemasters using the same engine has it has been since 2009. EA just picked up the publishing again.

  If this game is anything like f1 2018 and 19… Not even worth installing. Mario Cart is closer to the real thing than this.

  It's GO GO GO FOR F1 '97 (F1 '97 on PSX was the BEST!)

  I actually purchased this on a whim not long after it released. It was fun, but once I finished the regular season… I fell down the rabbit hole of not trying to win back to back world championships. I noticed F1 20 and F1 21 were on Game Pass, so I opted to download them and began career seasons in both of those games as well lol. F1 22 was my first F1 game since F1 2013 (and F1 2010/11 before that).

  F1 2021 had a pretty cool story mode that was worth the time. (Especially since it's on Gamepass)

  I bought this one full price and was pretty damn disappointed. The story mode was replaced in favour of some bullshit microtransaction thing where you can purchase… Couches and clothes for some reason, I guess to make your menu screens even uglier.

  But, I bought it for the new VR mofe, and despite it running like absolute dogshit, that was fun, for awhile.

    You say replaced but as someone who as bought every codemasters F1 game that is the only year that had that story mode so you had unrealistic expectations if you thought they were going to have a story mode every year.

  I am seeing it as free on PS5 but not PS4. Any thoughts on what I am doing wrong (other than not owning a PS5)?
