Pixel 7 Pro Display Issues

Just received my Pixel 7 pro and notice straight away that the screen color calibration is off it has a yellow-gray tint cast regardless of which display mode selected.

The display colour overall is really dull, is my device defective or everyone having the same issue? I am a photographer so the monitors that I look at all day are calibrated. For mobile screen, I have used Samsung, LG and apple before most screen are not color accurate but this has been the worst I've seen.

Is there any way to adjust the color calibration or white balance on this device?

Apart from that dust price found inside the rear telephoto lens. quite disappointed for a flagship.

    Is nightlight mode turned off?

      It does sound an awful lot like nightlight, and given this comment was posted at almost midnight…
      I've heard of no other complaints of this display from colour calibration.

      Of course, could be a faulty panel, but yeah, yellow grey sounds nightlight.

        I don't think the scheduled nightlight is automatically on — I think it's more likely that OP toggled it confusing it with dark mode. 🤔

        Dark mode was on by default for my Obsidian P7P, not sure if that applies to other colourways.

    Yes I have exactly the same issue. I've tried all the settings, couldn't find anything that fixes it.
    Possibly it's something to do with the HDR management in the software.

    There is also pink/green banding that occurs with the display when viewing from lower angles. I think that is just normal for these cheaper panels that google has opted for.

    There are a bunch of people complaining on reddit and the google support forums already.

    I have my doubts anything will be done about it, so will be trying to return my pixel 7 to JBhifi tomorrow and will go for something else. Fingers crossed they will take it back because they could easily say I can't return it.

    Sounds like the issue with the ROG Phone 3, there were heaps of complaints about colour issues for their screens as well.
