Come and celebrate OzBargain's 16th birthday!

Thought I'd get the ball rolling with more events in Melbourne. Keen to meet fellow OzBargainers and share some goods deals.

Time will be around 6pm but will be confirmed along with venue and the date will be between 18-20th of Nov - will give them a call today and pending availability .

Not sure on the cap yet but around 20-30 depending

Location: 277 Racecourse Rd, Kensington VIC 3031
Cap: 20

Will be ordering the $50 per 2 ppl meat/fish/veg banquet. There is also the option to go vegetarian but I can ask if they cater to other dietary requirements.

Hopefully there will be T-shirts from scotty.

Update: Have made the booking. Looks like they can't cater to larger groups on the weekends the cap has been changed to 15. I will lock up the voting in a fortnight's time and create a waiting list if we go over.

    Would come, but the cost for a seat does not appear to be OZB friendly.

      I’d argue it’s very friendly. The cost of one extra seat is $5 over which can easily be covered from the savings made per pairing

    No longer in Melbourne so can't attend, but I must commend the restaurant choice. Absolutely amazing food, I ate there once 10 years ago and still think about it.

    Great idea. Just wondering, as the price is 50 per person - does that mean we just pay the difference that is not covered?

    Thanks for everyone that turned up had heaps of fun! Think I’ll be keeping the events smaller and not bothering to extend it from now on as a lot of people did not turn up so we were slapped with a cancellation fee.

      Taking the $5 deposit like other events would have helped to try prevent that from happening.

    Thanks for organising, it was good to meet some fellow ozbs and got my not a bot badge finally.

    I might try to organise a place next year that’s not casual to avoid any no show fees.
