Fujifilm X70 - How Much to Sell for

Hi everyone - appreciate your help on this.

Found my Fujifulm camera bought in 2016 in Australia gathering dust in the shelves and was advised by some friends overseas that it is actually a highly sought-after item (since they stopped production of it in the same year and it remains a fantastic camera).

I was wondering if any photography enthusiasts or experts in Australia could advise if this is indeed accurate, and if so, how much I should be selling this for? My research so far indicates there's no one selling this on Gumtree, and I have found sellers overseas (mainly Japan) on Ebay selling them at prices ranging from 1.2k-1.7k AUD.

    Ricoh GR III kills it and it's $1300 new … as does all of the Sony APS-C configs ;)

    If you want to spend the time finding a Fuji nut that values it, you might get something for it :/

      Thanks for the comparisons, very helpful. Although I note the price for the Sony APS-C seems to be in USD unless I'm mistaken!

    Join the Fujifilm x series used market group on Facebook. You'll find a buyer on there pretty quickly

    I got an X100S for $450 on Gumtree in very good condition. Can't see you even getting near that, certainly not $1200!!

      You'd be surprised how much of a cult following the X70 has. It's almost mythical and in higher demand than X100 series, even though I personally don't see the attraction.

      Just go have a look at how many comments there are on Fujirumors website about people desperate for an X80 follow up

        This was my understanding as well - it's more of a hard-to-find cult classic rather than a value buy.

    I would probably post to eBay with a starting bid of 1k, let people tell you how much it is worth, I would be shocked if it comes in under 1.5k.

      I looked at completed sales on ebay and they sell for about $1000 but mostly Japan and overseas.

      I am doubtful someone will want to scam you for a very niche camera but always a possibility.
