      Depends on what you are using them for, they are a little chunkier and therefore some people may find them not as comfortable to hold. Or more importantly do they match the rest of your cutter collection! :)

      Unless you have a need for insulated, stay with the non insulated.

      The 1000V ones are only 54 RC. The non insulated ones are 64 HRC so they'll probably last longer.

      Saying that, my non-insulated knipex side cutters insulated me from some like 240V cables. Not recommended of course.

  There's some other super-knips (non VDE) for $24-36, they've got harder blades than these ones 62-64HRC, not sure what it means for durability
