    • +58

Yeah it's in the drawer next to me. I can bring it upstairs if you want it, but your mum looks so peaceful I don't wanna wake her. 👁️👄👁️

      • +14

all good, I'll take it up

        • +1

      • As the imperial system is being used more and more (that i've noticed), i'm not surprised the language is changing too - go Mom!

What suggests to you that the imperial system is being used "more and more" in Australia?
If anything I'm seeing more North Americans being at least aware that the metric systems exists.

I really want a basement. Or a bunker.

    • +5

      Hopefully not in Echuca

      • +3

        Now known as wells.

    • +3

A basement would be endlessly flooded in QLD/NSW. Hell I can’t keep up where the floods are anymore. Make it Anywhere but Perth

  • +4

YES!! I only have the shareware copy I downloaded from the BBS

  • +5

Omg had the shareware version and played it to death lol.

    • +1

Yes! This and the motorbike game with the Apples. I can’t remember the name?!

      • +4

        Elastomania

        • Played that game endlessly. Loved it.

    • dont forget Bio Menace, Commander Keen and Dangerous Dave 2

  • +2

Wonder if multiplayer still works. I remember getting hyped on the rare occasion someone would actually join back in the day while playing the shareware version on my shitty dialup connection.

    • +1

jazz2online and the JJ+ patch have what you need to go online.

Please post a deal for Skunny - Save our pizzas next. It used to come with some orders from Silvios Pizza.

Now here’s a game I legitimately haven’t thought of in 25 years, wow.

  • Absolute classic and nostalgic.

  • -5

How do I get it? Shows up as $15.59 for me

    • +2

      Read the post again.

  • +5

All I need now is a copy of Earthworm Jim.

I was around 10, I have no money but my life was happy!
now I am 35, life is stressful and I still do have not much money!!

Because we had someone to look after us as kids. Now we look after ourselves and loved ones.

  • +2

    CHILDHOOD RIGHT THAARRRR

  • +8

    It was a different time.
To think you could publish a game with a character named Spaz

  • +3

I haven't played this sequel, but the original game had amazing gameplay, graphics (I thought), and who can forget the wicked soundtrack? Who remembers Jazz's super adorable "yum!" when he picks up a carrot?

  • +2

It's 1/11… shouldn't this link be working by now?

    • Can confirm. Already passed 12am and still not showing as free. Guess need more time?

      • it says "At October 31st at 6 AM PDT / 9 AM EDT / 1 PM UTC" but now it is already "2:00 pm Monday, 31 October 2022 Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)", still shows as $16 for me

        • +1

Hey mate fancy seeing you here lol. Yeah well I guess we'll see tomorrow morning.

  • +4

Bitter sweet moment admitting that my pile of shame on Epic, GOG, Amazon, Steam, Xbox, etc is so large that I won't be able to get through it in my lifetime. I think I am a digital hoarder.

    • +3

Nah you're just one of us ;)

  • +3

    Holy crap. My childhood.

  • +1

I never got around to playing this sequel, but I loved the original. In fact, it was the first game I ever bought on CD-ROM with pocket money I saved up. Prior to that I was mostly playing shareware games from PC magazines and pirated floppy disk games.

  • +2

love how the showcase demo video on the game page has the player just stuck down an area with no apparent way to progress…
so he quits and tries a different level.
just the way i remember games from this era

  • +2

I already own it, spare code for anyone who wants it, please comment when claimed to save others the trouble. Thanks.

Definitely get this game, it's pretty good.

  • Spent many hours on this game with my brother when we were younger. Two player on one keyboard, split screen. Loads of fun!
