      They only tend to side with the buyer if you're a crap seller or a casual seller. Casual sellers don't earn them much. Buyers do.

    The seller could have received the item and it was not as the buyer had described warranting a refund. You generally upload photos and descriptions for a review from eBay.

    eBay are extremely buyer friendly. Even if the seller was right, they will just refund the buyer themselves without punishing the seller.

    Happened to me. Sold mint ps4 controller, buyer returned obviously different controller (different serial number from pictures), ebay refunded seller, I kept the original payment.

    Sadly, a lot of people exploit this.
