Recommend Me a Good Wireless Gaming Mouse That Isn't Logitech

Hi folks, looking for recommendations.

I have always used Logitech gaming mice because they've been very comfortable and reasonably affordable. But my last few Logitech products (2 x mice, keyboard, 2 x headphones) have failed prematurely and I am not willing to throw good money after bad.

Requirements:
- wireless (this is not negotiable)
- less than $180 AUD
- good ergonomics for a right hand (medium to large)
- must have a scroll wheel and 2 x thumb buttons
- decent sensitivity and polling rate
- RGB not important, I will probably just turn it off.

I mostly play FPS games. I'm not a competitive player and I don't need anything too fancy, just decent quality and reliability.

For reference, my current mouse is a Logitech G703 and I really like it - but it has failing switches and scroll wheel, just like the one before it.

  • I've got Razer Deathadder Pro and I like it.

    • The rubber grips fell off mine in less than a year.

    • JV is surprisingly on the money for once.
I've been using my Basilisk Hyperspeed for 2 years now and it's been good.

Battery life is maybe 2-3 months-ish with eneloops. I use it for work and FPS gaming.

I do want to upgrade to the Logitech G502 Lightspeed + wireless kb + wireless mat at some point though.

      • the Logitech G502 Lightspeed

One if my kids has that and loves it…

  • GM3323D

  • I like my ReDragon.

I will not buy Razor or Corsair ever again.

  • I've found Logitech are pretty good at replacing broken mice.

  • Maybe the Glorious Gaming Mouse Model O

There are other models, different size and weights, but you'd have to see for yourself, maybe wait until Black Friday / Cyber Monday too.

    Theres SteelSeries too

The Glorious line are said to feel a bit better though.

  • Razer Viper Ultimate is a solid choice, you will have to wait for it to go on sale if you want it to be in your price range though.

    • just want to add to this as I recently switched from G703 (same as OP current) to viper v2 pro and the shape is a huge departure from the G703, the viper is extremely flat and I'm have been having trouble finding the right grip for it.

might just sell mine and buy deathadder v3.

  • happy w my razer viper ultimate

  • I own wireless Razor Mamba. The connection is very stable. Build quality is not good - the wheel sticks.

I had a $30 wired Steel Series long time ago and I still remember the great quality. If the same quality applies to their wireless Steel Series 3, then it would be a great inexpensive choice.

use RTINGS for 3D model comparisons.

I used to use a G403 (same shell as G703) so my top choice for physical match are probably Roccat Kone Pro Air, Razer DA V2 Pro Wireless, Glorious Model D wireless, Xtrfy M4 wireless.

Endgame Gear XM2W wireless is a big one to look out for, release date mid Dec 2022. their XM1r is insanely good and overall quality is pretty good.

Model D Wireless? I dunno - its alright I guess.

Pulsar X2 or V2. Ausmodshop sells them locally

  • Bang for buck and peak performance/design equally as strong as any other, I recommend Glorious as one of the absolute best options

You can get Ergo or Ambidexterious in two sizes, largish, smallish for about $130

  • Thanks for all the suggestions, I will check them out and probably grab something on Black Friday
