Thanks. No idea if this would be useful but I entered anyway based on the entertaining 'Alien' name.
Using "an" before words starting with a vowel is not always correct. Usage of "an" or "a" before a word depends entirely on its pronunciation, not its spelling. In this case the "U" in Ubiquiti is said with a "Y", so you would use "a" instead of "an".
Now, if you pronounced Ubiquity as Oobiquiti, then you would use "an" - maybe you do?
