Faulty Hoselink 30m Retractable Hose Reel

The feeder arm only goes to the middle of the reel. Trying to fix it using the instructions here doesn't seem to work. https://hoselink-neto-images.s3.amazonaws.com/assets/files/h…

Does anyone have this problem and have you been able to fix it? Cheers

Try contacting Hoselink. They are usually pretty helpful.

    • I did via email a few years ago, sending video of the leaky tap, and I had a replacement 1 or 2 days later.

  • Welcome to the summer watering hose customer support phone line, your call is NOT important to us so please wait until we get to you when the rain stops…..

Call the hoselink support number and ask them for help.

  • Hard to say without seeing it. Only thing I can think is that the feeder runs across the groovy spindle that the belt is attached to. Is there any deformation of the spindle, or some junk blocking it up so that it can’t run across smoothly?

FWIW I’ve pulled one apart and it’s not especially complex. Lots of screws and a bit fiddly. If you’re patient and careful it’s not too hard. The return spring in one I found in council cleanup was broken in several places so I pulled the spring out (actually it exploded out and cut me in several places). I then fitted a handle to the drum. Now it’s a manual rewind but otherwise still perfect.

  • Both links you supplied give support details, phone number, email and direct chat.

Chat to them perhaps No1, Call them No2, and then if need be Email them with photos of your problem.

$269 for a Hose Reel….? Gold infused water perhaps?

    • Should have bought Gardena at that price!
