I've been looking for a good price on the Ooni 16" for a while. Cashrewards also has 8% cash back at Selfridges. Brings the total down to $810.

The price I've listed includes $74.50 taxes and $45 delivery to metro Melbourne.

  • Ooni Koda portable oven
    Dimensions: 40cm x 29.5cm x 63cm
    Cooking surface: (40cm x 40cm)
Commercial grade cold-rolled carbon steel shell with high-temperature resistant, powder-coated finish
    10mm cordierite stone baking board
Built-in Flame Safety Device (FSD) will automatically cut off the gas supply to Ooni Koda if the flame is extinguished while the gas supply is on
Ooni Koda is compatible with large propane tanks (normally used with barbecues), as well as 1lb propane tanks along with a suitable adaptor

What does it take to connect it to gas from mains? I have a gas tap in the garden.

    • I am also interested in this. Does it work out cheaper to use mains than tank?

      • I can't be sure, but logically it would be much cheaper and convenient. Like tap water is cheaper than bottled water.

        • We disconnected our gas because it wasn’t cheaper.

We pay $300 p/y connection before gas and that’s like 10x swap and go refills. Only for our oven we swapped it out.

          • @stewface: Yeah, surely there are circumstances in which it doesn't calculate to maintain gas connection.

But given you already have gas connected and a tap, it's probably going to be cheaper and more convenient to run a pizza oven off that tap.

    • There are currently no Ooni products for sale in Australia that operate with Natural Gas.

      • Thanks for this.

I hoped it would be a matter of an adaptor or changing to a different valve or something.

        • Some international markets have Natural Gas kits for the Ooni Pro and Koda16 but not yet Australia. Don't hold your breath - they are 18+months Soon™ status.

  • please post a review.. keen to know if it does pizza's well

Waiting for “I can buy 5000 dominos pizzas for the price of this” comments.

      For $810? Wow which suburb?

I can buy 5000 dominos pizzas for the price of this
Now you can get about your day.

  • Sensational price. Sensational product. Would buy but I own 2x Ooni models already.

  • Can these be connected to portable gas bottles? Unfortunately our new home doesn't have natural gas.

    • These run off your standard gas bottles that you can get from Bunnings etc.

    • It only connects to portable LPG bottles out of the box, you may need to buy an adapter kit if you're planning on connecting it to natural gas

I've been looking for a deal on this for a long time, but might want to go through some of the old posts here about people buying from UK (Harrods and Selfridges) before committing the one from Selfridges will come from UK so is not Aus certified and does not have Aus warranty.

One thing I picked up on from those posts is it will come with diff gas connector as they are diff and likely will impact time taken to heat up etc. So you will likely need to source a new regulator/ hose due to the differences, ie:
    UK - 37 mbar regulator
    AU - 28 mbar regulator

Due to lack of certification as well, could also cause insurance issues if something goes wrong, But if this doesn't bother you go for it.

Didn't even think of that. Thank you for bringing it up.

  • I just bought the koda 12 for like $600 and it’s awesome. Would have got this one instead!

  • There's also this knockoff that looks ok.

    • What is it a knockoff of?

      • A particular brand and style of compact gas pizza oven.

  • We've got this one. The pizzas that come out of this are amazing.
