worst experience with Nandos Parramatta. Takes minimum 2 hours for take away orders. Never going again to Nandos Parramatta.

    • +1

Never had an issue at Parramatta.
Delivery usually within 45 minutes, takeaway ready 15-30 minutes.
Blacktown I have had 60+ minutes wait and have cancelled without any issues.

      • May be try for dinner time. Day before yesterday It took 1.5 hour for pickup order and there was a customer, who ordered at 5pm and pickup was not ready until 8pm.
        Different people different experience.

Nandos has gone downhill in quality of the years and expensive. I feel sorry for the franchisees having to pay exuberant amounts of franchise fees to the franchisor….

    • You ain’t wrong. Apart from the birthday freebie and occasional decent peri perks offer, it is very much not worth it.

      • +7

Disagree, it's prices seem to have remained fairly flat over covid while everywhere else has gone through the roof, nandos actually feels like good value these days.

        • Prices went up just near the start of covid

It feels flat now but they seemingly were one of the first to raise the prices

        • +3

Not really. For example Classic wrap used to be $7.95 to $8.95 just before Covid. Now it is $10.95. 35% increase in just one item. Regular chips were $3.95 and is now $4.45 (so not as much of a increase to this item).

        • Disagree, and I haven't been getting any enriching Nandos deals for a hot minute either

  • +3

I have no Nando's within 5km radius now. Used to be 3 just one year ago.

  • +1

Strange - no email received. I would have thought that Nandos would have at least emailed their customers to inform about this deal

    • +1

      I got one

      • +1

@SpainKing Thanks for info. Not sure why I didn't. Last email from them was Oct 17

  • Boykott Nandos for going cashless

    • +1

Ever since they went cashless, I've been going to them a lot less than earlier

      • I still pay with card, but I don't support any store going cashless

        • That is how it should be - those who want to pay by card, can pay by card and those who want to pay by cash, can pay by cash. But it is Nando's loss, I guess, as they have willingly chosen to lose their customers who would be paying by cash.

i've heard of people complaining about "Cash-only", not the other way around….

      • -3

Why would you complain about cash only?

  • +5

The prices if you choose delivery (versus pickup or dine in) are higher though.

    • Yeah noticed it the last time they had this deal that they increase the cost of the item when delivered

      • I came to ask a bout this
        Fake free delivery

Mines nly 2km away so drive

  • +1

What if I live 5km 10m away? Remind me of Elaine ordering Chinese food delivery. Video.

  • Gave this a go.
    Food arrived stone cold.
Price said $36.90 but at checkout it was $40.90 so they throw extra on at the end to cover the free del i guess.
I wont be using this again

  • Mine jumps from $24.40 to $27.90 as soon as I pick delivery. Yet the items in my cart still add up to $24.40 with $0 delivery.
There's just some mystery $3.50 charge when you pick delivery. Free delivery tho!

Edit: Still bought it tho didn't I.
