Can a Karcher K2 work from a bucket?

Pressure Washer's are commonly connected to a running tap via a hose; however they can also draw water from sources such as a rain water tanks & garden bucket with the same performance. the cheapest one you can find with an all metal pump is the best solution. Gerni is my go to.

before mine got stolen I had one from Bunnings worth around $200-250?
cant remember the model and i dont have a need for one right now.
i have this initially for car washing. found that it takes the other karcher accessories too so it now has a 15m hose (on the trigger side) and the pavement cleaning addon, best investment ever.

I've got one from the last deal. The plastic fittings and clamps are very cheap and flimsy and I've already broken the latch that connects the hose to the spray gun.
No reel to store the hose so I just end up wrapping it around the Karcher itself. Yes it is the base model and yes it still does the job of washing my car. But when I'm done with this one I will be investing in somethings that a bit better made.Anyone good metal pump pressure washer that people suggest?

afaik K-K5 is plastic impellers.
check the price jumps in between models.. that's probably the difference in impeller materials.
From K5 onwards the pump is metal and liquid cooled.
Under that are plastic pump and air cooled
K5 starts from $700 :(
yeah. you can tell immediately, they know the people looking for metal impellers are going to pay for more :P
thus in my earlier comments, the moment you see the price jump in the model, thats the one with metal impellers.

Tried this last time and they told me they couldn't do it because the product code was different…
you have to be careful with the product code… it's really different.
bunnings almost always have unique bunnings-only karcher product codes.
they either bundle in something or just outright a different code.
so to get it price beat, it's a lucky occurrence.
