Separate Smart Lights and Quick Buttons (Google)

Well I have 2 lots of smart lights in 1 room (tv govee lights as well as downlights)
I want to operate these seperately by google paired them. Yes I can go in and control each one but it's not ideal.

Also is there a simple way to control these from my phone such as a widget, I'd also like a 2 gang wireless battery switch I could use to control these.

Any ideas

  • I have no idea what you are asking.

You said you can control them separately using Google Home. So what do you want to do in addition to this?

  • IMO if you own your home don't buy smart bulbs and just get smart light switches installed. The Deta grid connect ones are quality https://grid-connect.com.au/smart-home-products/switches/

If you want to tie everything from a bunch of different brands together try looking at https://www.home-assistant.io or wait for the new "matter" standard to come out over the next few months,

  • quick buttons

if its zibgee lights, you can use the hue dimmer switch directly from app.

Otherwise you'd need an apple homekit device (that is turned on all the time) for being able to use non zibgee devices with the hue dimmer switch.

  • I want to operate these seperately by but google paired them.

Grab a google home device and use your voice? "Hey Google, set the downlights to 50%" etc
