    Stocking filler or landfill filler?

    Bike or bike shaped object?

      Bike or intensive care trip?

You guys are a bit harsh. Obviously not a real mountain bike, with one gear.

Yes, it is a $30 toy for riding in the park. What is so terrible about that?
Cheaper and lighter than a K-mart kid bike, as well as looking better.

For the kid whose been “just ok” this year.

Or for someone who's struggling and thats all they can afford?

  • Kids or small adult bike?

  • Delivery kills the deal

Do a free trial of Kogan First

      • I used it earlier

      • I think Kogan first also not free delivery only deduce $4

        • Ahh, good point - assumed that was the whole point of Kogan First.

  • 1 cable on my bike costs more than this. This is likely literal garbage that will rust within months.

    • +1

      It's made of premium aluminium.

      • -2

My beer is made of “extra-premium malts”, what does that even mean?

The fork is listed as ‘steel’.

I hate the idea of going to the effort to build a bike and ship it half way across the world only for it to be landfill less than 1 year later.

Hopefully some kids get some fun out of it before it’s garbage.

        • The fork is listed as ‘steel’.

Perfectly normal for for alloy frames to have steel forks, including quality road bikes until not long ago.

          • @bargaino: A quality steel material would be cr-mo, when listed as just ‘steel’ we are talking some kind of super low quality steel.

  • $37 delivery to WA.

  • Considering this for my 6 year old sons first bike without training wheels… this or Kmart. Budget is $100 if he keeps riding will buy a real bike for birthday later in the year

    • +1

they change bike quite often as they grow, so this one will be good for 1-2 years

    • this! When he outgrows it, you can get his first geared bike, probably a 20", or 24" if he's big enough.

Kogan is notoriously bad. Should be in choic5's shonky award every year.

    • Yeah, but I got a folding bike from them, and was very pleased. Judge the products on their merits (and prices).
