    No T-shirt is worth $70

That's what I thought until I chucked out my shirt with $100 in it.

Correction, no machine made t-shirt is worth $70 bucks, but I would pay premium for any hand-made tshirts from sweatshops, in particular when they carry the distinguishable scent of child tears.

      not even worth $42

Made in sir lanka…probably cost 50cents to make and they were trying to flog it for 70 bucks!

multi-billion dollar company spruiking their environmental credentials while charging $70 for a sweatshop tshirt…lmao!!

Can't tell if trolling so for those unaware scrolling OzBargainz here's the reality on Patagonia (beyond the silicon valley tech bro wearing a puffer image).

Literally just signed the companies profits away to charities

And has a high rating B Corp certification for their Fair Trade sewn (non-sweat shop) labour.

If you have an issue they will repair, replacement, or refund, you can also pay to have at fault wear and tear repaired.

        spruiking their environmental credentials

If anyone "big" brand can it's Patagonia, their items do cost more than a plain cotton tee with a logo, it's the embodied cost from ethical labour, sustainable material sourcing and no doubt a lot of R&D to make the new recycled materials work at a high performance.

Excellent after purchase repairs too. Bunnings-esque almost.

I purchased a 90L duffle in 2016, this year my dog chewed through the handle and they've offered to repair it for free, all I had to do was pay shipping there.

Thanks OP for the post, can't believe Ozbargain has become a bunch of trolls and haters who can't seem to just ignore deals that don't apply to them.
