Coles A2 Milk Price Increase

There was so much hue and cry when there was 10c price increase in milk

Now a2 milk price has new silently increased by 10%

A 3 litre a2 costs $9.80 at Coles now :(

How is everyone coping?

And Costco still sells 3.5 litre of same milk for only $7

Damn, if only they weren't located in inconvenient (imo) places in Brisbane and required relatively limited use membership :c

  • Could still go up further if the floods continue and there are labour shortages.

  • Maybe to raise their share price. Didn't they just get approval to export formula to the US again?

      Why is A2 so special?

Because they are A1 at marketing.

        Lol.

I just google the benefits and all the claims use words like can, may, probably.

Just drink normal milk dude and save your money.

Just fine, thanks for asking. And you?

      • give this man the gold medal for comment of the week

  • If you've been drinking enough of the stuff you would have invested in high yield investments to offset the rise.

A2 is just marketing. How many Chinese and India people never got A2 milk (maybe not enough cow milk). It didn't seem to stop their cultures.

    • Most cows in India are the traditional Brahman breed which only produce A2 milk.

  • How is everyone coping?

    By not buying it.

I noticed my local Coles is $6 for 2l of A2 milk…. Nope.

Right, now what government scheme can I get my snout into?

  • Went Costco yday and I couldn't see the A2 (I think it was out), but $3.99 for the normal 3L milk

I know eggs and chicken went up slightly, but still cheaper than grocery stores

amazes me how many mark down 1l milks are at my local woolies that are good for 2 days for 39c yet people don't buy them.

i lost enough money on a2 milk shares not help them out any more.
