      I like the look of the desk dock.

      … Not enough that I'd spend $39.95 on it, but if it were about half that I'd buy it.

    +1 for the bargain… I guess? But what does that desk dock do at all? Is it just a hunk of plastic with some wiring to connect a micro USB to the pogo plug? Am I missing something here?

      Not missing anything. It's a pity that pogo plugs aren't more popular as they give you the convenience of just having to drop your phone onto the dock without having to fiddle around with a micro USB plug.Have read some forums of how to make your own pogo plug compatible docks but look too complicated!

      daily plugging and unplugging of a usb cable on phones has been known to cause the socket to become fiddly and sometimes even no longer work….pogo pins avoid that. Also, 3.5mm audio jack on the dock.

    Ordered thanks. I had a $30 voucher from Mobicity (since they dropped the price of my phone the day after I bought it) so for $15 delivered the desktop dock was worth it :)

    Thanks! I love the pogo pin drop-in cradles, but I couldn't bring myself to pay $90+ for one. I can manage $35 though.

    Apart from charging, they also have a 3.5mm audio out jack, btw.

    Pretty good price, and I'd love one myself, but unfortunately if you've got any kind case (even the thin rubbery ones) your Nexus won't fit in. (Clarification - I mean the desktop dock, I'm not sure about the car cradle)

    WTF… from the photos and specs => 'what's in the box' description the car kit includes a full 6-key-rows QWERTY docking keyboard????
