Recommendation for a Stick Vacuum?

Been looking at kmart anko cordless vacuums and reviews seem pretty decent. Any recommendations?

  • I reccomend one with a station that helps empty the canister.

I personally have a JET VS 90, got it 2 years ago.

The new All in one LG one looks really good.

    • Don't you have to buy custom bags if you want to keep using the emptying function? Most people wouldn't want an additional ongoing expense to use a vacuum.

      • Yea I guess, but its better than cleaning the canister yourself, or you can empty the dustbag and reuse it.

  • I like my Samsung Bespoke. I had a dreame v9 before which started out good but after a year it just pushed stuff around. Kinda wish I didn't get the highest model as I don't even use the mop.

One of the main things I hated about stick vacuums was emptying the bin, hate touching the outside bin and being covered in a cloud dust. But ever since i got the Bespoke in April, I've only emptied the bag once. And I just emptied it myself and reused the bag 🫢

  • +1

We have a Samsung V90 and its kinda Meh.. its good on hardfloors, not so much on carpet..

we also have the auto empty canister, its ok and i manually empty the bag as i dont want to replace it very often.

I know defeats the purpose of it, but its still useful, otherwise i would have to empty the vac canister into a bag after each use..

A powered vac is still better, but not as convenient.

When using it on high, the battery doesnt last long, but we dont mind. We use it for the 'inbetween' vacuums and still use the plug in Dyson for a big powerful vac.

  • Project Farm youtube has a good comparison of some cordless vacs (including v90)
