- draw some gold points from new games (Splatoon3, Bayonetta 3, etc)
- go to eshop, click sifu from the news (do not search directly, won't show the game)
- pay with gold points and get free sifu.

Do you have to use points to pay? It showed up as 39,99 on mine as well, but I had trouble setting Wise to use Argentina, whenever I pay using Wise it says "using a card issued in your country/region of residence"
yeh i had that too.
I tried it again and set the province to Santa Cruz
Cuit set to 1111111111111
then it automatically deducted the amount from my current Yen balance on my account.I tried that too, but Nintendo kept saying the same error. Maybe because my Wise is set to Turkey donno
So you are saying it deducted Argentine pesos from a Yen balance? Seriously?
Yep below is the exact steps
- Change region to Argentina
2.log back in to my switch, found sifu under news - Attempt to purchase for 39,99 or something
- Input wise virtual card details ( my wise card is a debit and only has yen in my balance)
- Set province to Santa Cruz
- There is a cuit part and I just put 111111111 ( found on reddit)
- Purchase done, as shown on my screenshot 65yen was taken from my account and converted to ARS
Not sure why it’s not working for all but it worked for me. Only thing I can think of is my wise account was created years ago when I lived in Canada so not sure if that would play any part on this.

What if you linked your Nintendo ID to the Argentinean account and added funds through 3DS and then merged the funds to the eshop on switch. Could it work then? Or is the price error exclusively tied to gold points
as long as you can pay, it is all good. gold points is the easy way to pay for it.
Awesome find OP! Worked fine for me. Added points from physical Bayonetta 1 cart (91 points) to my Argentinian Account. Used 80 points for base game + 10 points for DLC = 1 point remaining. Brilliant.

I got error "This content is currently unavailable.", when I try to pay. what have I done wrong?
Can't get wise virtual cards to work even though I've got ARS currency available. Just says my card is a USA card. Ahh!!! Anyone else found a workaround for payment method or small purchase required to get some gold coins?

Open the page, switch the currency setting to Argentina, and see if it's still showing $39,99.
But on the switch Arg store, the sifu game app is gone. The cosmetic pack is there ($4,99) but the main game is gone.
If you try to link from news, it shows software currently unavailable.
It’s still accessible on eShop, but not sure if VPN is needed.
I might try using VPN after work.
