How to Share PlayStation Plus and Games

I've just gotten a ps5 after with my last console being the PS3. With all the things such as games, subscriptions and consoles being bankruptingly expensive I was looking into ways that games can be cheaper and I'm still confused.
Console sharing exists to share games. But what is the limit of people? I've heard that it's two but some people say even 4 people work which I don't understand. Me and two friends have all recently gotten ps5's and would like to console share games. My method was to have a turkey account where I can link a working credit card to pay games using a cheaper price. I was also thinking to use this and pay for PlayStation plus extra.
I'm also assuming games and PS+ extra can be shared between accounts on the same console.
But I would also like to split costs with my two other friends in terms of ps+ extra and games. So overall I would be sharing with 3 other accounts.

Would this work and how?

I'm so sorry for the long ramble. I just don't know how to word it better lol. Someone can comment a tldr

I think this video will help you out.

By the looks of it, gamesharing only allows for sharing between 2 accounts at time. So that'd be you and one friend. But if either one of you shares with someone else, then your first partner will likely get locked out and you'll have to re-share between each other from scratch to reset the setup.

I honestly didn't know the PS5 could do this.

    • I saw reddit posts of 3ppl working
Is that on the same console
      And does psplus share then?

      • Try this video.

No more googling from me. I only bothered to respond because I was curious myself.

Go and experiment now and see how you go.

        • Those videos were rlly helpful. Me wanting to use turkey adds a few steps but ill experiment and update everyone.
          Cheers

  • I'd recommend getting a disc-based PS5 and sharing games physically which is both legal and officially supported by Sony.

The PS5 can also play PS4 games and there are lots of games that are super-cheap nowadays, so it's a perfectly valid way to get access to a lot of games on a low budget. Between buying older PS4 titles, waiting for sales and sharing physical releases between friends, you should be able to get your gaming fix in fairly cheaply.

The game sharing feature is only intended to be used to share content with others in your household that are using YOUR console. Some people do set their friend's PS5 as their primary console and vice versa which would allow them to access each other's games illegally, but it's extremely easy to track and Sony likely already has periodic reports stating which accounts are doing it. If they eventually do something about it, in a best case scenario, you'd lose access to your account. From a legal standpoint though, it is piracy if you're giving others free access to software that you don't own the rights to. So you could end up in a lot of legal trouble if those purchases are traced back to you. Personally, I wouldn't risk it.

    • Sony twitter was chill with it lol. They dont reccomend password sharimg with people you arent close with however.
