Saw this at jbhifi strand arcade. Not sure if its nationwide. Seems pretty cheap.. Works out to be $0.23 per battery.

Not bad for a name brand but keep in mind these aren't alkaline batteries and won't last anywhere near as long!

The everyday price of 30x Varta AA batteries at Bunnings is $8.95

It is $2 more, but the Vartas are alkaline batteries, and would easily have twice the life of these heavy duty ones.

    They may do other varieties, but the Vartas I was referring to from bunnings are definitely alkaline.

    They are Alkaline.. I buy them and they seem to last ok maybe not as long as Duracell or Eveready alkaline but close enough.
