    I've also been looking at binoculars recently and you can get the Bushnell Powerview 10x50 at Ebay for $128.85 and using the Ebay discount code this brings it down to $118.85.

      Ehh these are more general purpose binoculars but i guess you could use it for a better view of the moon.

      I use my 80mm spotting scope for looking at the moon when i cant be bothered to take out the dobsonian

      G’day, I was hoping to get a pair of binoculars for my wife. She’s keen on getting into birdwatching with me (I do photography). Wondering if the SVbony 10x42 would be good for this purpose? Is the Bushnell Legend at $200ish a much better step up?

        The Svbony was remarkably clear. Like any binocular it's all about setting them up for the user.
        They would be great for bird watching.
