    Not recently, i have found the mango flavor has suffered greatly, it used to taste exactly like mango, now it barely tastes of anything.

      Agree! Its not the same taste as last summer!

      Multinational Unilever reduced the mango content from 40% to 30%

      May have stopped only using Kensington Pride mangos. Weis used to proudly state that. Now it's just "Australian fruit"!
      Other mango varieties don't have the same flavour.

  Weis Mango used to be 40% mango
  Sadly Now 30% mango Noticed a decline in taste!!!

  Introduced in 1959 in Toowoomba.
  Grew up eating them as a treat. Even though there were mangos (& macadamia) growing in the garden. Ate a lot of bars each summer🌞
  Even helped sell them in Japan🎏

  Likely will slice & freeze 100% fresh Kensington Pride mangos instead. They're delicious frozen!

      Used to grow thousands of Kensington Pride mangoes each season. Same as were used in Weis mango bars.

      Did a deal with a local to slice & freeze them.
      When you've eaten delicious frozen mango with no additives… I liked mine best. Maybe with some good ice cream.

      I know mangos… the flavour of Weis mango bars has also changed!

      With the temp in the 30's, will still stock up on Macadamia Mango bars!

          @everydayimbargaining: Just sliced mango. (I had someone do that for me!) Taste better than imported frozen mango in supermarket.

          Or try Hangryuman's yummy Mango & Cream

          As I grew KP, & Weis used only them in these bars - that's my choice.
          Make sure the mango is ripe & has good flavour.

          Try 1 & see.

  I grew up last century eating Weiss Fruito Bars - pink with cream edge which tasted like pure frozen cream - they were great. From Toowoomba since 1957, mango bar since maybe 1959 ? - https://www.weis.com.au/history/

  the original Mango Bar was pure heaven - it tasted like pure mango and pure frozen cream

  decades later they've sold out and as someone else said - taste nothing like the original

  in other news - we bought a box of 20 small NT KP mangoes from Harris Farm the other day on special for $20, and milady whizzed some up with pure cream ($5 a large carton) - so if you want to taste real fresh frozen mango that would be my tip

  nevertheless if I happen by this special I may grab a box to see if it evokes any hint of the distant memories of those blissful tastes of my childhood

  meh - not seeing it at my local … so that's an easy no.

    Bowen Special (KP) Mango & cream - yum!
    So much better tasting than these Unilever 'Weis' bars!!

    Weis bars used to be the taste of summer in SE Queensland.

    A few years back, promoted the bars in Japan. I just ate them at the front of the Kaldi Coffee Farm stores (known for their range of Foreign food & free coffee samples) & gave out small slices of Weis Mango bars.
    "If the Foreigner likes it - it must be good!"
    It was a hot summer - I was mainly paid in Weis bars.
    Definitely wouldn't do that for current bars!

    The Weis family restaurant used to be the first thing people saw after coming up the Range into Toowoomba. A long family tradition.
