Australian Open Tennis - Rod Laver Restricted View Seating?

Hi all, have a few relatives visiting who would like to go to the Australian Open.

Looking at tickets in the Upper Section. From what I have been told, Rows AA & BB have restricted viewing due to a glass panel and also possibly advertising boards.

There are some seats though in row CC available. They are also noted as Restricted but wondering if these are high enough to look over the glass panel? Anyone sat in either Row CC or Row DD before. After that its Row JJ so would obviously prefer to sit closer if possible

Cheers

  • I would pay a little more and get good seats.

Watch it on tv. No restricted view there, unless you hide behind the sofa at exciting moments…. Are there ever exciting moments?

  • It should be alright, I personally haven't visited but seen pictures of friends who were happy with it. You haven't mentioned the Section tho as that might impact your experience as well.
I agree to be closer than JJ, having said that it's a nice stadium with a view from event the last row worth the price of admission (for any tennis fan).

    • Thanks for the info
