Has anyone successfully combined the half-price Vodafone SIM deal at Woolworths, which cuts the price of a 12-month SIM to $125, with the double data Black Friday offer?
There seems to be some doubt over whether the double data (150GB to 300GB) applies only to a SIM bought directly from Vodafone, either online or from one of their stores.
Last night on chat with Voda, I was told one thing and then the other. Confusion reigns.
Getting 300GB for $125 (or less) is a hell of a deal, has anyone done it and got the double data? Thanks in advance
Any updates on this? I don't think I'll be able to order online and get the SIM delivered before 15/12 to get the double-data deal. So the best bet is to buy in store.
There doesn't seem to be anything about the double-data deal that is online only. The product page says the $250 plan for $150 discount is online only, but the double-data deal has separately listed details and due-date. I talked to someone at a Vodafone store, who said they don't sell the $250 starter packs at that store (maybe that's what they mean by "at select Vodafone stores"), but if I buy it from another store that does and activate it, it should work.
