Any bargains? Please list them. "From $x" isn't a bargain, it's just advertising.

    • Sorry was $ 163.00 + Shipping now $ 48.00 Free Shipping

        was $ 163.00

It was $37 just 5 days ago. Negged for your misleading price comparison.

        https://www.accc.gov.au/business/pricing/price-displays#misl…

        Misleading price displays

        • Stating the sale price is marked down from an earlier price when the items were not sold at that price in a reasonable period right before the sale started
        • Comparing the displayed price to a recommended retail price (RRP) that no-one generally charges for the product.
        • That was just a bigger discount at 77% off from $163 as the cache shows.

And here are a couple of the sites that came up when searching "Happy Feet Texture Top Mat"

$189 for the version with yellow chevron border @ https://www.matsonline.com.au/happy-feet-1.html
$182 for the version with yellow safety border @ https://rs-the-mat-group.myshopify.com/products/happy-feet-t…

And if you're gonna ask - no, I am in no way affiliated or related to the matshop lol.

          • @Ultraman: Issue is with the rep claiming it was $163 when it wasn't. Advertising it as $48 discounted from $163 makes it seem like you're getting a great deal when in actual fact you're paying $11 more compared to the $37 price.

            • @m9: Yeah well then you better do the same investigating and neg all of the "bargains" that get similarly posted to OzAmazon/ebayBargain…

              • @Ultraman: We are.

                • @m9: Oooh you have too! XD lol. Only have you given up on Amazon postings looks like you haven't negged one of those since Sept! Good work. And yes, because you flagged it was cheaper recently I have not actually bitten the bullet even though I gave a green +. Just that I have bought from them before and the mats (not ones in OP of course) are still going strong.

                  • @Ultraman:

                    given up on Amazon postings

That's because Spamazon is now banned.

I have not actually bitten the bullet

$48 might still be reasonable if you needed one now. Just wished sellers be more upfront and let their deal speak for themselves instead of using dodgy misleading price comparisons to fool the unsuspecting.

        • More than likely the additional cost now also takes into account the free shipping that they are offering so it balances on their books. Pretty deceptive

    • When you load the page $163.00 flashes up for a second. It's meant to be against the law to put up a fake "before" price isn't it? Unless it's a unique product to the country, like what Harris Scarf does, imports all kinds of unique things and puts insane "RRP" on them to mark them down to something closer to reasonable.

      • No this product is not unique to me it is available from other retailers in Australia.

Select the larger sized option from the dropdown menu… RRP $427 lol

    Any chair mat deals?

  • Perfect for the bathroom

    • I thought about that too, does anyone experience to use it that way?

  • Does this come with a free dancing penguin??
