    I had this and enterprise. Both are great coffee. Sumatra gives me a smooth silk finish while enterprise gives the extra body.

    Drink them all with milk, delicious.

    I really like these beans. I've only ordered 3 times and the second time it wasn't the same as the 1st and 3rd time i purchased it. I totally forgot to call AIRJO up and give feed back (read complain :). I remember that it didn't have the same strong aroma as the first time when i opened the package and it lacked the creama. I'll be sure to call if it fails my taste test again though. I'll order again since i'm about to run out.

    AIRJO, i'll be more than happy to subscribe if your discount is at least the same as your monthly discount posts you put up on here :)

      In terms of recipe we would aim for a general 1:2 to 1:2.5 over a 25 second extraction and then tweak from there based on your personal tastes.

        How long from roast date from Sumatra do you reckon to grind and brew? I found I had to wait 1-2 weeks to mellow the acidity.

        Again, recommend updating your website with the ageing and extraction recipes.

    Auspost let's these poor guys down. They give free express post… But auspost take their sweet time delivering…. To me anyway. Something something pandemic.

    Feel sorry for airjo who pays the premium, and gets shafted.

    Love your beans guys. This order is probably my 40th bag of beans.

    I don't get the fuss being made about frequency of discount offers. The original price is similar to most small volume / specialty roasters. The Sumatra blend is fine and at the discounted price it is more reasonable than most sellers other than the supermarkets. I've bought the Aldi coffees and will do so over the typical supermarket brands any day of course, and I agree that the Aldi and Coles coffee is nicely priced but I've just hit GO on the Sumatra as it's good value and everybody who I've served it up to at home has enjoyed it - myself included.

      Hey hypnOtixx. It’s a great question. I would suggest wait until you are ready so you get the magic in the freshness. We have fairly regular sales so timing should be pretty close to when you are ready.

      I recently made my first purchase from Coffee On Cue who didn't even have an option to opt out of their spam list. Not having a go at them specifically as many online sellers don't give you a choice these days.

      I'd say the Airjo check box to opt out is actually better than most.

    Echoing comments on the previous Sumatra deal.

    I was surprised to find a 3 month old single origin from another roaster on here buried in my cabinet and it was fresher in terms of taste and strength than my 2-3 week old Sumatra I got from the previous deal.

    Bit of a shame because it used to be great.

      Have to disagree there mate, everytime I order beans are fresh. So much so that I usually order a week before I need as they take a while to degas and the flavour to hit it's peak (at least the peak that I can extract :p)

    I pay $32 for a kilo from my local roaster which has won numerous awards. Never heard of these guys and they're more expensive. I get not everyone might have the luxury of living in a very coffee passionate area 'fremantle'. But this feels far from a bargain.

          i just had a look, and the shipping cost is $12 to sydney , so even though they sell for $1 less on the sticker price, i dont really think you'd come out ahead unless you live nearby enough to pick it up yourself.
