Purchasing Refurbished Phones from Phonebot.com.au?

My wife is considering getting a refurbished phone (in "Like New" condition) from www.phonebot.com.au and we are wondering about people's experiences (good and bad), we usually buy brand new mid-range phones, however my wife wants a phone that has guaranteed Android updates for a while (I already have a Google Pixel 4a (5G).

On reviewing Phonebot's website, we can see they have a change of mind policy, however, the conditions of this are unclear, and we don't want to be out of pocket with a phone that we aren't happy with.

Would appreciate any feedback that people could offer.

Thanks,
cevad

    • Did that and had of a look through the comments, I'm more interested in people's experiences with the process, though

  • In my experience over numerous iPhone and Apple watch purchases, Phonebot gradings are highly satisfactory. You can get better deals at Cashies but need to inspect their items before committing as their grading is wildly inconsistent.

  • I've purchased a Pixel 2xl and an iPad from phonebot in the last few years. No complaints.
They both went straight into cases so you can't see any scratches or marks.
Do your research before you buy.

  • Well, I purchased a S10 5G from them years ago….

They keep spamming me with emails.

Rep here 'fixed' the issue, and they've just sent more.

    So, yeah.

Just to close this out, my wife ended up getting a new Google Pixel 6A from Officeworks - she's very happy with it (apart from the onscreen fingerprint reader).
