  • I was looking at these hoping to see a drop for Black Friday…. hooray!

  • FYI - no VESA mount on this monitor.

I bought one of these at the start of COVID and I assumed VESA mounts were a standard thing on all monitors..

  • anyone know how this compares to this kogan model?

    https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/kogan-34-wqhd-219-ultrawide-75h…

I have no idea about monitors

    • Yep. The kogan is an ultrawide and slightly less resolution. The pixel density would be less as well than the 4K samsung one.

I had a 3440x1440 lg ultrawide and switched to a 4k monitor and never been happier. Everything really pops and looks better. ultrawide would be ok only for certain tasks but the higher pixel density on the 4k would look amazing.

compare pixels density on this website

      More PPI is better

I'm suprised this isnt picking up more upvotes. If your looking for a large curved 4k screen what else are you looking at. This seems to be a fairly good value proposition to me?

I'm considering these for a work setup with dual screens, not for gaming.

  • Thanks OP, checked some reviews and got one. Have been looking to go to 32 inch or above and from the reviews it looks like this is a good 4k option, especially at the price. And saved me near $800 vs buying the LG C2 42, which would have been overkill for mainly office use.

Looks like this post isn't going to make the front page, which is a shame because I'm loving mine so far (got it within two hours click and collect). If anyone does end up getting this, definitely check out the set up section from this Gadget Guy review. Links to a downloadable ICM profile which not only helps with getting the colours right but also allowed me to set the panel to 4k resolution using my desktop (was maxxing at 2k before that for some reason).
