Mario Party Superstars $54.95, Super Smash Bros $60.95 Expired, Fire Emblem Three Houses $58.45.
Seems alright. Might be able to save 10 more if they do a lighting deal, although Amazon hasn't been doing many on switch games the past few big deal events.
If you intend on playing it as soon as you receive it, and not putting it in the backlog, I think you should just grab it at this price.
It's an excellent game and were quite rare last year. I remember paying second hand for $65 as no stores were selling it anymore.
They seem to have printed a few more copies since but as HolyFosh said, if you want to play immediately, I'd bite at this price. Can easily send second hand for $50-60 after you are done.
Fire Emblem title is launching a new game in January 20, 2023 with “Fire Emblem: Engage”
If you are willing to hold-out, the price will drop for the Three Hopes next few months.
Just my opinion but most Switch triple-A games usually had good resale value. So you can play both games without losing much $$$.
First and second party nintendo games rarely get much of a discount, I'd absolutely bite at that price.
Is that a really good price for super smash bros or is it often discounted this much? I wasn't going to buy it until later as there are some other games I wanted to get first, but I didn't think the core games usually got discounted this much
Quick search, in the last year the lowest it's been was around $58-59.
Sonic frontiers at $56 seems pretty good as well, but I can only find ps5/Xbox version. I was after switch. Maybe it will pop back at some point if they get stock.
If anyone is interested the sonic game for switch is $54 at jb. I still had the perks code, so it came in at $44. I'm sure it'll go down in price quickly, but probably won't get any cheaper before Christmas.
