Would never buy a JBL again. 2 of my smart speakers died soon after the warranty expired and my jbl xtreme though still functioning sounds a bit sus with rattling bass occasionally
Might be the way you are handling it? My JBL Charge 2+ is still going well as well as the JBL flip 3 and JBL Boombox in perfect condition which I've had and used constantly before 2017. The only other exception is the JBL Clip which I purchased in 2013, still working but charge lasts around 30 minutes max volume.
I don't abuse my tech. Both my google speakers and my sony xb90 lasted longer and still function as if they are brand new. The only branded tech that failed on me in the past decade and half was from JBL.
Just bought this and instantly regret it. I have no need for another portable speaker. Onto marketplace it’ll go when it arrives.
