Works out cheaper at jb with gift cards

  • How viable is this for PC usage? I'm concerned about 4K with my 2070 S

    • +1

      It’s viable for PC usage.

That card won’t work well for 4K.

I’m not getting it and I have a 3070ti lol

Yeah, need to buy a new GPU but deciding what to get is a bit of a mess right now, might just go for the AW if that drops in price for 1440p

        • that would be the way.

i'm rocking a budget HP ultrawide and loving it.

Depends on your 4k usage. Your 2070 will have no trouble at all running your operating system office apps and most modern games on medium settings at 4k.

I run an rx570 and game at 4k on an LG GX with no issues.

For more modern games I just bump the resolution down to 1440p.

      • Do you have a multiple monitor setup? I've usually got a browser open and I'm a little concerned that would cause issues

    • +1

No HDMI 2.1 support on your card. Limited refresh rate until you update your GPU

    • You'll get burn-in. Both Linus of LTT and Wendell of LV1 on YouTube suffered with it.

100$ postage kills the deal for me. Side effects of far north.

  • Voucher does not discount it to $1270 for me. Only $1300 approx

    • Might be an eBay plus thing.

    • Lol disregard, I was using the wrong code haha!! :( Spewing I bought at JB this would have been cheaper with gift cards from SB.

  • Great price

how far back do people sit with a 42 inch pc monitor? my 32 took me some time to get use too.

    • +1

I have this very same question. Especially when gaming FPS where you need your eyes on all part of the screen at once.

yeah IMO unless you have a VERY large desk, conventional 16:9 or 16:10 screen shouldn't be more than 27" if you intend to be productive. been there tried that (32" incl. flat and curved)

but for gaming (depends on the kind of games too) you want as wide as possible for immersive feel in FPS and simulators and such

so if PC gaming is primary use, 42" is perfecto on a desk. in a TV + console kind of setting 55" and up makes more sense

      but that's my humble opinion

      • I use a 43" Philips 4k, wouldn't say my desk is unusual, just part of a desk 'set' from Ikea about 5 years ago. One of those mix and match different parts to make one long bench which wraps around the room kinda setups.

Long story short, 43" monitor in the corner, average sitting distance. At first it seems ridiculous but after using it a little you get used to it then find it really handy for productivity. Can half/half the monitor with a coding app and browser, for instance, and you don't feel like everything is being squeezed to make it work. Then if you really want to focus you can go full screen Eclipse or whatever and be able to view huge parts of projects without scrolling all over the place.

I rarely game on it, would like to but everything else takes its priority which means no time for it.

        • yup heavily depends on what you're doing and personal preference

I could never get used comfortably to anything larger than 27”. was excited about getting my 32 flat at first, but found it too uncomfortable to use, switched to curved that solved some problems, but was just awkward to use in the end. YMMV

      • My desk is 80cm deep but my C2 is hooked up a to a monitor arm so I can move it back and forth depending on what game I am playing. All it took was a vesa adapter off Amazon.

New Listing has been made to purchase from for the same price, original listing was ended.

Note, delivery is only free for metro areas it seems.

  • Does anyone have any views/thoughts/experience on this vs the Samsung Frame?

  • Silly Question.
Will this have risk of burn in if i use it with PC?
