CMC Markets - never go for it

Hi guys,

I would like to share my experience with CMC market trading

I signed up with CMC for trading of CFD and futures during the time, when there was a offer that they will provide Nokia 6300 if you fund your account for $1000, I did, you know which mobile did i received nokia 1680 classic a entry level phone,
when complained about it, was advised they wont be able to help as nokia has stopped manufacturing 6300.
but its not my fault.

Well the worst case was that their marketmaker software never worked well and kept on dropping connection, reported this to customer care and did everything they advised, but couldnot overcome from this problem.
And their funding website doesnot repond very well, there always have been technical issues and the website will make the browser not responding have tried using it in IE7, firefox, opera. its the same for all

And due to the fault of their software, i have went to liquidation loosing more than $4k. And CMC market wont help again and had put the whole lot blame on me and my computer,

Well, my pc is new, has never given me problem, has got all security requirements..
but they wont listen.. and here i'm with bank balance.

had reviewed now by googling, and found that there are many in this crowd with this.

  • Hi Creeps

You should have made a fortune with how the markets are at the moment sell sell sell.
I have a friend who works for a company exactly like this one (could even be this one but not going
to say just in case they do read this).
His words were "they are a rip off and the commission they charge per trade is over the mark".
In saying this as I have posted before it is just another form of gambling but for the smart ones it can be very very profitable.

  • what a rip off

  • hey you know what happened when i wanted to withdraw funds from my trading a/c, they required me to send a copy of driver license, previous bank statements for six months, and then they will only refund the funds to my credit card.. where i don't owe any money… and whatever they will put, if i withdraw it, will have to pay heavy cash advances fees…..

and not only this, the funds withdrawal will take more than a week…

    and you know, what…

i requested this withdrawal nearly two week's before… it is really a big rip off..

  • did you fund your trading from your credit card account?

even if you were, you are supposed to be able to choose where your fund should go.

    • i funded by credit card and bpay…

but they advised me the fund will only be credited back to credit card a/c….
