Sydney Cleaner Services That's Better Priced than $100/Hr?

Hi

Last year I found www.helpling.com.au which had cleaners for hire between $30-$40/hr for minimum 2hrs, that site isn't showing any results for me now and most other places found are quoting $200 for 2hrs for a 2 bedroom (approx 80m²).

Besides Airtasker, is there anywhere else that you would recommend? How much are you paying if currently using a cleaner?

  • The $200 for two hours covers the fees to the provider, the individual and the fact that such a short job means travel time is a large part of it.

If it was that lucrative no one would be doing uber driving but do this instead.

Why can't you just clean it yourself?

  • I use Whizz.com.au - should be $150'ish although not cheapest around they're very reliable and have a wide range of cleaners. Generally send out 2 people that clean top to bottom in 2 hours.

you can find by advertising or asking around sometimes as low as $20 hour.

    • lol, good luck

  • AUD is really taking a dip.

  • Cleaners making $100 an hour this is disgusting.

    • I think they are making a tidy profit

  • $200 for two hours to clean your 2 bedroom house? Sounds ok.

Firstly, they would bring all their cleaning supplies, vacuum, wipe floors and clean bathrooms and kitchens.
Are they expected to do your laundry???
    What kind of cleaning?

My co-worker has a cleaner who comes once a month for 3 hours on a Saturday for $300 for her 3 bedroom house.
She refuses to clean (my co-worker - not the cleaner). She says she has no time - but her two 20-something sons probably pee all over the place and they likely stink.

I do my own cleaning, as that's $300 worth of cleaning products I could buy lol

Maybe pay for one job and then offer cash in hand to cut out the fees after? Of course they would have to be trustworthy though. However, this is not recommended if I'm honest.

    $30-$40/hr

LOL maybe if that's cash in hand directly to the cleaner, and you commit to either long term contract, multiple days per week or pay a call out fee.
