LG OLED77CSPSA 77" CS 4K OLED Ai ThinQ Smart TV $4795 + Delivery ($0 C&C/ in-Store) @ Harvey Norman

310

Walked into the Osborne Park WA store for a browse and this TV was displayed for the advertised $4795. Asked sales rep how low they could go and I picked it up for $4195 with little to no haggling.
Have been watching the OLEDs for a while and thought this was a great deal for 77".

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2022

Thanks, great find. Any chance you could share the image of the receipt for a price match displaying $4,195?

Yep, here you go. Includes delivery too.

      • Legend! Do you know the name of the person who served you? Might head over in a bit to try my luck.

          Ask for Aaron

      • Thanks!

  • Damn I thought I got a good deal yesterday for this at $4400. Sales guy I got wouldn't go any lower. I price beat using VideoPro and Appliance Online's listing's (was around $4500).

    • +1

I asked him once and he took $600 off straight away.

      • Good job, I'm envious

        • +1

JBHifi was only able to do $4500 with extra care repair cover included. Gerry, take my moneh.

  • Wow thats seriously low. I have been waiting for this particular one to be around $4k.
I wonder how easy it will be for the rest of us.

    • +1

$4500 was my target so didn't waste any time on this.

      • -1

would of offered $4k neat, lesson learnt

        • Lol. I think you take it and run in this case. Seems unlikely to be repeated. Maybe it was the dude’s last day and/or he wanted to piss off his manager.

  • no where for a sound bar in my setup

  • +2

It really sucks we’re not seeing the C2 discounted, would’ve defs pulled the trigger if that were the case

    • Decided I couldn't wait any longer

    • +1

I think this was their marketing strategy to keep the C2 at the premium range, since the G2 doesnt really have much extra to offer anyway.

      • I mean, I’d get the G2 for the heatsink, but needing to buy the stand separately is just lame.

  • Need to try this price at jb or good guys
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/737790?utm_source=searchal…

    • You would need about 90 cards. They gonna love you at JB.

      • It was embarrassing enough when I used 11 gift cards this morning. I can’t imagine how you could manage doing 45-90 cards at the checkout.

        • And you call yourself an ozbargainer … tisk tisk :p

    • JB couldn’t match it. Best they could do was $4500

      • This would equal $3825…. Seems better then $4195

    In case people were wondering….
The CS-series models, like the C2-series models, come with the latest generation Alpha 9 Gen 5 processor and have WebOS 22. However, the CS-series, unlike the C2 series, does not come with the Evo panel that increases the brightness of the television. In this respect you actually get a C1 series from last year.

Simply put, the CS series is exactly between the 2021 C1 series and the 2022 C2 series. This is also reflected in the price, because depending on the size, the CS series is hundreds of $ cheaper than the C2 series. If you are going for an OLED television from LG this year, keep this in mind

Actually many 77 C1s made in the end of last year were given EVO panel already.

You can tell if you got the newer eco panel on a C1 by the box:

      https://techunwrapped.com/how-to-know-if-your-lg-c1-has-an-e…

      • That's interesting. Do you think there is any chance that a 77CS will come with an EVO panel?

      • Yep, correct. Certain late production C1's (above the size of 48" have EVO panels. I can't recall if it's inclusive of the 48" model actually and don't have time right now to check)
However; there's no way to know if any CS's have EVO panels at all. At the current price point comparing to price and specifications of other current gen LG's, I'd think not!

  • $4390 at Videopro right now. Less than 5 in stock though.

  • Good guys in point cook price matched video pro for me, did the tv for $4000 + $329 for 3 year warranty and free delivery. Worked out as $3886 buying ultimate gift cards from Woolworths.

    • 😲 thats more than just a match?

      • He essentially matched it with the warranty included. It was either that or a direct price match, so was essentially cheaper with the extra warranty.

        • Thats what I mean. Def better with the extended warranty. TVs can be such unreliable things these days.

    • That’s just awesome. Are you able to share the invoice copy at all…?

        • Sorry mate, already got this from you yesterday, thanks again. The question was for the post above for the purchase made from Good guys.

The delivery was removed once I was paying, it was a current 'promo' as an fyi.

Thanks so much for this post, Good Guys price matched at $4,195 and I payed all with TCN Home cards! :) Took quite a bit of time at the checkout but the staff were lovely about it and were actually impressed lol

    • Nice!

    • Can you still buy these cards at ALDI?

      • Not sure, got all mine at Coles with the 15% discount

    • Mind sharing receipt?

Used the receipt posted for a price match at HN, walked across the road and asked TGG to price match it.
They came back with 4205 + free shipping.

Tried to talk them down to 4000 like the fella above managed to get, pretty sure the bloke I was talking to was a bit annoyed I was getting a good deal and wouldn't budge. Had a chat with jbhifi, they accused me of photoshopping the docket I showed them / quote I had printed for 4195… so that ended as soon as it started.

Long story short 4205, used woolies gift cards (and 3 coles ones I had left) for the purchase and roughly 10% off. Feel like I could have done better but getting a 77" c1 for <4k is already an absolutely mad deal, can't always chase records!

  • +1

Can confirm that GG will go down to $4k… i have a sales quote to take back later and purchase… free delivery. Will be using $3.5K worth of $500 ultimate cards cards at 10% off (saving $350). Total price for TV $3,650…. WINNING!

    • So good! Mind sharing the sales quote? I’ve got a GG just across the road! Intending to get the TV tmr

      • +1

        https://ibb.co/Wvj0L87

Note: the $55 delivery fee is waived. I only paid the $4k in gift cards..

        • Nice! Although if you factor the 10% HN gift card as cash (which it isn’t), then it’s $3,775 from the $4,195 purchase. So depends if you need other stuff / wall mounts etc, HN might be better for some.

  • +1

HN did for $4,195 + delivery. JB would go no lower than $4,395. Thanks for the post OP!

    • Did you get the 10% purchase price as gift card?

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/740280

      • Yes, actually he mentioned something about that on the phone, but I wasn’t paying enough attention. Will confirm when it arrives today, thank you

        • Yes, although will apparently be delivered by mail along with invoice. $420 value to spend at HN

  • +1

GG did $4195 + $55 delivery for me over the phone. Thanks OP, I got a great price and managed to avoid the crowds! They didn't ask for receipt proof, just asked which store and the price.

    • Did you get the 10% purchase price as gift card?

      https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/740280

      • Nope, because I price matched at Good Guys and didn’t purchase from Harvey Norman.
I went instore to Harvey Norman on Thursday and the sales person told me they couldn’t go lower than $4500. I decided I’d rather the discount than Harvey Norman gift card since there was nothing else I wanted.

  • +1

Called up 4 GG stores yesterday, only 1 would price match. Did $4140 + $55 delivery for me. Went to get gift cards this morning for that extra 10% so $3775.50 total. So happy!
