I used mine today to repair a mechanical watch! These are good tools for delicate work like fixing electronics etc. Great value.

One of these sitting next to me- quite good product, almost every size in the small category covered. Magnetic tip is also a plus. Grab one if your prone to losing these (like me)

At which point I find that… I have never previously purchased from Meritline. Is this a personal failing, or have they just failed to attract me with the products that call to my moth-eaten wallet?

    Issue now rectified.

  • Got mine from the last deal - plastic cap was broken and bits dont stay in their spots. ok deal i guess…

  • Ordered. Thank you for posting!

    • whoops, clicked wrong reply button…
But now I'm here… No problem!

  • just received mine from the previous deal! quality product!

  • Checkout via Paypal seems to be broken for me. When I'm taken back to the meritline site after Paypal, it gets stuck, and I'm asked to select a payment method again! Anybody else having the same problem?

    • Try holding the CTRL key before you click the process button, it may just be a Pop-up protecter stopping it.

If not, use a different web browser.

  • Still haven't received mine from the previous deals, I'm in Perth, anyone else other here had similar problems or anyone in Perth received this yet? Any help is much apreciated,

Oh and it definitely went through cos it was taken out of my bank account and am now receiving constant emails on their "deals"

      • got mine today, weird….

  • bought one. Thank you.

aushades; I did checkout with Paypal and it works fine for me.

This will be my third purchase of the same tool. I just love it. For the price and the flexibility it offers. I'm giving them away to a few handyman friends and they all love it.

  • Don't know what I'll need it for… but bought it. :)

  • Damn the exchange rate, had to pay AUD2.53, not happy, not in OZB spirit:))

  • My one just arrived!

    • +3

      that was fast!

  • Is anyone else having trouble with adding the item to cart? After I add it to cart it says the cart is empty, tried several times…

  • mine one not yet arrived from the previous deal.. i am in melbourne :S

Will work about twice before the bits strip. Can get a better set at Bunnings for $5-10. Spend the little bit extra - it's worth it in this case.

    • I work at the ToolShop at bunnings and we have similar ones going for around $5 but they're also our no-name/cheapo brand "Craftright". If I manage to get one of these ill compare the quality

      • I didn't see that on the website. Do you have a link or is it instore only?

        • +1

I completely agree, I have been through so many of these just doing things around the house that I got so frustrated that after a heap of research I bought these from a UK store:
Wiha Xselector DIAMANT 11pce Screwdriver Bit Set
          http://www.cwberry.com/Inquiry_ProductDetails.aspx?ItemNumbe…
Cost about A$55 including shipping but well worth it. I couldn't

      • Craftright are the ones I bought. In the orange plastic box, yeah? I've been using them for a couple of weeks and they're doing pretty well so far.

  • Expired deal. Ignore this post

  • Thanks for the post even though I missed out. I was looking for something similar just today. Something like this is around $4 from ebay (if I remember correctly). Just had a look at bunnings online and found http://www.bunnings.com.au/products_product_trojan-screwdriv…

That is $9.98 and was the cheapest I could find.

I might go tomorrow and have a look at http://www.bunnings.com.au/products_product_screwdriver-set-…

That is $13.85 but may be much better.

  • I highly doubt it's going to be MUCH better.

Goes without saying but just because you're paying more at a store like Bunnings, doesn't automatically mean it will be better quality.
