Lowest price so far. Advertise as $149. Save extra $10 on checkout. So I pay $139.

This is not a headset for everyone. Please do your review online before you make the purchase. I have been waiting for this deal for a long time. I cannot wear a headset that goes into the ear canal. I tried Airpod, and Samsung Buds Live, and they all fell off easily. So hopefully, this will fit me. For $139, I am willing to make a gamble.

Edit: The grey one is sold out, but the white one is still available for $149.

  • best earphones ever! I feel and that I paid $200 a few months back

Bought another pair. Thank you. Can now retire my wf1000xm3 that love to fall out.

These also fell out a bit for me initially and found them annoying to put in. After some getting used to/adjustments, I have no issues. I love these things.

  • Are these comfortable as Buds live?

  • knew this will drop,
    bought one,
    thanks for the link.

  • got one thx. replacement for buds live

  • Anyone have experience running in these?

  • They were onsale for $199 (black) at JB in their 2nd last catalogue. Amazon was the same price, I bought and ended up returning. I did all the research as I want a non silicon tip earbuds. Whilst I did eventually get it to fit into my ear it did feel uncomfortable after a while as the actual 'circle' part just didn't sit right so I ended up returning them. They didn't feel like they would fall out of my ear as they give you silicon loops in different sizes (it's the little rubber bit to the top right of the sony logo in the pic)

    • PSA to you and everyone else's earphones that fall out etc. - get comply foam tips. I get lasting comfort and they rarely fall out.

      • They do the opposite of what these earbuds are designed for. i.e. you would only be looking at these earbuds if you want to hear what's around you; Comply foam tips are designed to seal your ear canal so you don't hear what's around you.

I've used complys for years and find them less comfortable than some silicone tips. The Bose QC Earbuds 2 silicone tips are the most comfortable for my ears so far.

        • That's true but like others here, once they get wet at all (swea, rain etc.) they often fall out. Where as foam tips grip the ear canal almost creating a seal. Also with ambient mode on my Sony wf-1000xm3 you can hear loud enough outside sounds.

          • @Skinnerr: Sure, but that doesn't apply to these LinkBuds. There is no stem for Complys to attach to.

Also with ambient mode on my Sony wf-1000xm3 you can hear loud enough outside sounds.

Unfortunately that also includes wind noise!

  • These are open earbuds? I like the idea of being able to hear the outside world and not get hit by a car when I cross the street or yelled at by my wife, but I also worry that will mean I use increased volume and am more likely to damage my hearing.

    • +1

Yup, that's exactly what they're designed to do - let you hear what's happening around you. They're anti-noise-cancelling earbuds.

      • Yeah I can just see myself pumping up the volume and damaging my ears. I don't feel the need for noise-cancelling, even on a plane, but for me the benefit is I will use a lower volume and have less decibels in my ear for hours on end.

  • Thanks for the deal. I am part of the one earbud club in the office space so I can still hear. My colleague next to me is of the in-both-ears club and I have perfected the feinted stagger to get his attention.
Look forward to giving this a try.

  • Thats a killer price, i got these when they first launched and love them. The codec support could be more but if this is what your after, its unique and great. You can wear them and still hear outside fine! Just dont expect bass

Sony eBay has just matched everybody's price of $149, even less if you use the SB's Apple $5 challenge, PLUSNOV1 5% off code, discounted EBay gift card and/or unused eBay Plus vouchers to rid off quickly.

    • Same price (+ postage) on the Sony site, so I asked JB Hifi for a price match, but Person A told me that it was online only so they couldn’t match it. After checking a few details, I checked with Person B who confirmed that they could match & the deal was done. I’ll see how they go for fit & sound tomorrow.
