Afterpay eBay Discounts without Using Afterpay?

Hi all, this may be the world's dumbest question, but I'll ask it anyway

There seem to be some significant discounts on eBay right now but it's saying have to pay through Afterpay.

Is there any way around this? Can I use an eBay gift card?

The item is almost $1k reduced to half price

I just don't like Afterpay and applying for a mortgage soon don't want a BNPL on my bank history. Would rather avoid if so. But if it's the only way to get those deals then fair enough. Thought it was worth asking the question but.

  Just buy it on afterpay, pay it straight out.
  Issue done with.
  Will be a debt for 5-10 minutes

  Not really. Buy it on AP, log into AP and pay in full.
