    Link doesn’t work.

    • Thanks to the mods for fixing the link, P/N also updated

  • The model number quoted above is wrong.

Model with correct model number for its size is in stock at AusPCMarket for $49.

    • $62 total with shipping, the Amazon AI knows

      • $111 for a kit. Better deal at Auspcmarket

        • CT2K16G4SFRA32A is the kit

Buying 2x CT16G4SFRA32A does not guarantee a matched set. Of course you can ask AusPCM whether they can inspect the P/N's before purchasing and see what they say

      Buying 1:
      Auspcmarket $49 + $13 = $62
      Amazon $61.98 (cheaper by 2c)
      Buying 2:
      Auspcmarket $49x2+$13=$111 (cheaper by $12.96)
      Amazon $61.98 x 2 = $123.96

  • @Vita85
Buying 2 of the same kind does not mean buying a kit :)

  • Haven't paid too much attention to the ram side of things for laptops in forever.

So the 1R and 2R now has me wondering haha

Was hoping for some good deals over black friday, but nothing really stood out.

Is there a good cheap laptop gaming RAM for 32gb dual that people recommend?

And is there a difference buying together (kit) versus separately now?

  • Probably a stupid question, however, with RAM is it best to go with the part number Crucial recommend for your specific machine or does any similar work?

  • Buy a cheap laptop with a decent CPU (Ryzen 5 or so) and 8GB RAM, throw the one 8GB out and put two of these in and it's a somewhat powerful mobile workstation.
