I opened them, they were awful, I walked to the post office 100 metres down the road and returned them.
How about RMA number and return label.
Kogan support take days to respond
Got these about a year ago as well and as soon as you use the colours, they lose probably close to half its brightness. As white/warm lights they are passable but they aren't all that bright either.
I use mine as a little tv cabinet light and does a good enough job. Also have them under my monitor for a small desk light. They do a fine job but don't expect much. Also yes, cords are incredibly short
These aren't great - I bought them when they were released and, like the other comments said, they're dim and the USB cables are short which makes them frustrating to use unless you're in a really dark room. Also note that despite the photo showing multiple colors at once, they're RGB not addressable RGB.
bought the kogan smart light bulbs a few days ago. Didn't work with google home. always shown as "offline" even I can still control them with the kogan app. but what I want is controlling it with google assistant :(
Tuya tends to have that problem, you have to reset and add them again. Not just Kogan but a bunch of different stuff under Tuya.
I have a pair of these. Very cheap looking but does the job if you simply want to add some colour to TV's back in a dark room.
They work with Alexa and Alexa can switch it on and off or change to a small set of colours.
These are def cheaper alternatives, but you also get what you pay for. Ordered these a year ago and they are quite dim. Could work well for a study and on computer desk but not bright enough if you want to cover more space.
